With less than a month to go until The Liverpool Legal Walk, we are polishing up our trainers and doing our stretches in preparation to raise funds for free legal advice charities in Liverpool and around the North West. Starting at 6pm on Tuesday 11th June, we will be completing a 5k walk around the city centre, celebrating the work these legal advice charities do and helping the vulnerable people they support.  The need for free legal advice centres has grown greatly in the past few years due to the damaging effects of the recession and reduced support services.  Funding for the advice centres themselves has also reduced which means it is more important than ever to support our local free legal services.

The organisations supported by the money raised by the Liverpool Legal Walk..

  • Prevent families being made homeless

  • Prevent destitution

  • Help older people gain the support to which they are entitled

  • Help women and children who have been trafficked for domestic servitude or prostitution.
