Are you over 65, live in Liverpool or Knowsley and are unsure about your welfare benefits?
We are here to help. Our dedicated team offers free, friendly advice on a range of benefits, including:
Pension Credit
Housing Benefit
Council Tax Reduction
Attendance Allowance
The 65s and over advice service in Liverpool and Knowsley helps older individuals (65+) improve their financial well-being, maintain independence, and ease cost-of-living worries. The service focuses on ensuring seniors receive all the financial support they’re entitled to, such as Pension Credit, Attendance Allowance, and Carer's Allowance. A dedicated caseworker assesses financial situations and assists with applications for benefits.
Additionally, the service connects clients to support for debt, housing issues, and utility bills.

Funded by Independent Age, the service targets older adults who may face barriers like limited mobility, lack of resources, or language difficulties. It aims to reach those who might otherwise miss out on free legal assistance, helping tackle the issue of older people living in poverty, with many not claiming the benefits they are eligible for.
