Merseyside Law Centre Vacancy – Triage Coordinator

Established in the 1970’s as Merseyside Welfare Rights we became Merseyside Law Centre (MLC) in 2016. Merseyside Law Centre is a legal advice service that combats poverty and homeless and provides access to justice. We support people with housing, welfare benefits, debt and asylum support matters.


The Triage Coordinator post is an opportunity to play a key role in re-establishing and delivering essential legal advice and support in the community. Along with being the first point of contact for our clients you will have a key role training and supervising volunteers in administration and advice skills to support delivery of MLC advice services. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about social welfare law and empowering people to learn new skills. You will be experienced in working in an advice setting and working with volunteers. You will have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to relate to and work with a large variety of different people.
